Beyonce’s character, Deena, became the new face of the group and with the added success and fame, three girls learned about the difficulties of stardom and friendship.

Beyonce lost 20 pounds in a short 14 days to play the part of 16-year-old Deena Jones which was a part that was highly influenced by the legendary Diana Ross. Beyonce was always seen as a very curvaceous and toned woman.
